Jekyll Island-Oct. 2015

IMG_1811IMG_1854The girls and I took a vacation trip last October.  Dave, Jess and kids went too.  It was an AWESOME time!!  Hubby stayed home as he thought it might be too much for him.  We stayed a week at Jekyll Island GA.  Here are two of my favorite pictures.  If you look closely, you can see Daniel in the water behind Julie.  David and Jess pulled their camper down and left it in a little town close to Jekyll.  The camper is just too big to pull back and forth and besides it is much easier to go for a visit if the camper is already down there.

That’s all for today.  I hope to share more beach pictures tomorrow.  Enjoy your day and God bless.

Amaryllis

IMG_1900It has been a really long time since I have made a post.  I am trying to learn how to transfer pictures from my phone to this blog as most pictures I take now are with my phone (thanks to Jess).  Anyway, this is just a short post to hopefully get me back in the habit of blogging.  This is a picture of our amaryllis.  The bulb was given to us as a Christmas gift.  I have never had one before but I most definitely love them.  Anyone familar with them?  Not sure what I do with it after the bloom is gone.  I guess I’ll have to research it.

We have had our first major snow of 2016.  I think we had probably 15 in. with drifts much deeper.  Anyway, we have enjoyed 4 days of being snuggled in.  My last day out was Thursday.  George had a chemo treatment on that day.    Well, I hope everyone has a great day and God bless.
