Just look at these beautiful crocuses. They are not mine but belong to a friend. I think they are so pretty.

I have been able to get a few things done outside this week. I cleaned up the asparagus bed and put fresh hay on it.

Cleaned up the rhubarb. It makes me so happy to think of fresh rhubarb and asparagus. I love them both.

I did some brush burning.

And got this beautiful truck load of mulch delivered.
The Bates crew will be coming over tomorrow to help get some things done in the garden. It is supposed to be sunny and warm, 60 degrees. I LOVE it! I will make a post showing our progress.
Spring is calling and there is much to get done!

Hello everyone! I hope you have all been having a good weekend. We enjoyed a great valentine’s meal yesterday at Jessica’s. Great food and great fellowship. I so love my little family.
Look at this awesome picture Dave took of John Luke. He is showing off his muscles. I love it!
I have ordered a few seeds in anticipation of spring. It will soon be time to get some early things started. I want to make a stick trellis for the malabar spinach to run on. It is new to me for this year. I am excited to try it.
Daniel is learning embroidery. He seems to enjoy doing it.

When I asked Grace what she wanted for her 20th birthday, she told me she wanted to get a tattoo.
There is a tattoo parlor in Floyd that does excellent work.
Grace drew the design herself.
Grace LOVES crows. They have always been her favorite bird. Maybe because we have so many of them here on the farm.
