This is a picture from several years back. I was reading one of my blogger friends post and she was looking for a modest dress pattern. I commented about how I had made these dresses before but I felt like my instructions were lacking. I dug in my old pictures and found this. I hope this makes it a little easier for her to understand.
Today has been cold and very windy. Wind gusts of about 40-50 mph. We are doing school as usual. I hope to get some sewing in after school. Supper tonight is homemade pizza. Yesterday was very busy cleaning the attic. We use this space as storage and every year it seems to get way out of hand. It looks very organized now. Not for long, I’m sure. I’ve been trying to do some cleaning and organizing this week. Eliminating some clutter. I seem to have an over abundance of clutter.
Well, time for school to start back. Lunch break is over. Enjoy your evening and God bless.
Thank you for reposting this picture. I have tried this particular idea a couple times. I have also made jumpers and dresses with puffed sleves. Maybe I should have posted some pictures of those again to remind you gals what path I am on. smile Sorry. shy smile Um…I have been clicking around and found something about sleves, another thing about enlarging a pattern, and another page with different era patterns. I am pleased with the help I have received from you gals who have blessed me in this area. smile Thanks so much for your help and for sharing this lovely picture of your girls. smile Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!

I like these dresses! Homemade pizza sounds good. I am trying a new recipe out for a potato casserole I found in a cookbook. I hope it turns out good. Goodness that is some strong wind there! Hope you all stay safe and warm there.

Cute dresses. I have always liked the looks of the t-shirt dresses. We had the wind pick up in the night, but it is gone now. Have a great day as you finish up school. Supper sounds good.
