Christmas in March

100_5316

I think my Christmas Cactus is confused.  It bloomed around Christmas time and has decided (to our great pleasure) to bloom again.  It looks so cheerful and happy in the room.

Todays temperature was a little warmer when we got up, 26 degrees.  It is a little overcast  but the sun is coming through.  It is now about 30 degrees.  I have one load of clothes on the line and am getting ready to take another.  They are predicting rain for tomorrow.

On the menu for tonight is pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and kale.  I think I will do homemade biscuits with it and have cooked apples for dessert.   Time for us to start school.  Enjoy your day and God bless.

  1. Your Christmas Cactus is so, so pretty!

Your meal sounds yummy and healthy! We will eat left over pizza for lunch and probably hot dogs and french fries for supper 😦 Quentin is gone all day today. He was asked to go to the General Managers meeting today in Staunton then he will close up the Roanoke store tonight. He will be getting approved over time though. Today seems like he is still working two jobs!!

I hope you all are having a great week 🙂

  3. Your Christmas cactus is beautiful. We had to hang out laundry up inside again as we have more rain coming in.

Have a great day with your family. Your supper sounds really good.

  4. Your picture is so beautiful. I have never seen a Christmas cactus before. Very pretty. I got out hamburger meat for dinner tonight. I think I will make salsbury steak, mash potatoes and green beans. Have a great evening.
