Yesterday morning we had some strange visitors at the pond-sea gulls. I guess they were confused with all the rain we have been having. Look at the level of water at the pond yesterday- now look at it today.
Lots of rain. I do not know for sure but I estimate 6-8 in of rain. The pond is overflowing.
Oh well, we definitely needed rain and this has been a slow steady rain which is good. I think the forecast is for snow tomorrow. Well, it is time for school so I hope you all have a great day and God bless.
That is high! I think it may have actually stopped raining here. I hope we get snow tomorrow. It will be a nice change from the rain.

The slow steady rain is what we had for the first six years of our merriage, it’s wonderful! It’s something to get used to if one is from the south though. big smile I lived in Phoenix Arizona and when it rained it was like buckets just got dumped on us. smile Where we live now when it rains, the ground is just as ready if not more so than we are for it so it goes away fast. Not to mention a good drainage system. smile I am glad you all got some rain as it means there is water in the ground to replenish the land. smile It is funny when seagulls show up in unexpected places. smile We have had three grey days in a row now, they are lovely and I am thankful for the clear yet chilly winter weather. smile Have a lovely day. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
