Good morning, ladies!  I hope you all stayed warm last night.  We were at 8 degrees this morning with a wind chill of -4.  The bathroom and laundry room water was frozen but it didn’t take Hubby long to get it unthawed.  The above picture is in what we call our sitting room.  I wanted to share the beautiful sunshine coming through the window, especially for Cheryl.  I understand she has had a really cold dreary several weeks.

We will be starting school in a little bit.  After school I hope to work some more on the quilt pieces.  So far it has been kinda fun.  I am making crockpot terriyaki pork for supper with rice and green beans.

Enjoy your day and God bless.

  1. Sunshine makes everything better! I am glad you got your water unfrozen. Your supper sounds delicious! My guys have requested bean burgers. 🙂 I am going to call you in a little bit.

  2. Oh, thank you, Donna, for that picture. I look forward to seeing the sun like that again. It has been a long couple of weeks with this inversion, fog, and temperatures in the low teens for our highs. We were at -6º this morning.

Quilting can become addicting. I love working on quilts, especially this time of year. Your supper sounds so good.

Have a wonderful evening with your family.

  3. I like your sweet little shelf. It looks very cheerful with the sun poking through the window.

Glad you got your water pipes taken care off. What a blessing that it wasn’t serious. I am ready for warmer weather and sunshine. It was a week of dreary grey skies here.
