We awoke this morning to a wintry mix.
Not a lot going on here this week. Grace has had a little sore throat and congestion going on this week. Hubby has been dealing with something going on with his tummy. Not exactly sure what. I think a trip to the doctor might help but he thinks for sure (today) that he is doing better. We’ll see.
Yesterday, Julie and I went to C-burg while Grace and Hubby stayed home. I was hoping to find a few twin size flat sheets at Goodwill to use as the backing for the quilts I’m working on. I did find one but I don’t think it will be for Sam’s quilt but hopefully it will work for one of the other ones. We picked up a few things at Wal-Mart, paid a few bills and came on home. I’m glad we got all that done yesterday before the storm hit. We also downloaded sheet music for Julie. The song is titled Hope’s Song by Rebecca St. James. She wants to play and sing this song at church for Easter. She’ll have to work pretty hard on it though as Easter is just around the corner.
Julie and I spotted a few of these colts foot blooming yesterday. I took this picture from an older post of mine as we did not have the camera with us yesterday. It is always so exciting when we see these starting to bloom. They are (to my knowledge) our first wild flowers to bloom in spring. YEAH!
Well, I guess that’s about it. I hope you all have a great day and God bless.
I was just thinking that I haven’t talked to you all week. I hope Grace’s throat and George’s tummy are better soon. We passed you yesterday on your way home. We were headed to Christiansburg. I know Julie will practice hard and do a great job on her song. I am SO glad you are spotting signs of spring.
I hope you all have a great day.

I join you in thanking the Father for your husband’s health being returned to him. I hope you are able to find the right backing for your quilts. I think the most time consuming part in quilting is the putting together of the quilt. I tend to tie small ones and have the larger ones quilted so it doesn’t happen as often as I get them done. smile Have a lovely day watching for spring amungst the snow drifts. smile We haven’t seen as much snow as I would like in our area, but I have seen the start of our spring bulbs popping up. smile We have some weed control to do in our garden spot a couple times over before we will be ready to plant in it this year. All in good time I suppose. smile Have a lovely day. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!

I hope that George and Grace are doing a lot better. What beautiful pictures. We had a thunderstorm roll through at 2 this morning and then had ice and snow on top. It made for slippery roads.
What a beautiful song. I hope that she does well with it. We haven’t seen some flowers around here. Maybe in the next few weeks or so.
Have a wonderful weekend with your family.

The pictures are beautiful. I wish we would have had a good snow this year. Mia really wanted to play in it. Oh well….if we can’t have snow I’m ready for spring. Hope you have a great week.
