Vanilla Extract

Good morning everyone! I hope you have been enjoying your week so far. Things have been good here. Not too cold. I took some time yesterday and cleaned out the rabbit hutches and the chicken house. It feels good to get that done.

Jess and I are doing something new to us. We are making homemade vanilla. I have wanted to do this for several years and just never got around to doing it. I hope it works. Thanks Dave and Jess for providing the supplies. I followed Ina Garten’s recipe https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DcCm11Pp9rs

It is supposed to be nice today with a high of about 60 degrees. I may work some up in the garden. We’ll see. Jess and I are going to Sam’s club after she finishes school.

I finished this scarf this morning. It is a C2C stitch. I really like this stitch. It works up fast and I think looks very good. I am thinking of doing a lapghan using this stitch. I followed this tutorial. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PYAVCDASo4M&t=1908s
