Yesterday after the snow stopped, our sky was gorgeous. I tried to take a picture of it. This does not really do it justice but it was the best one I took. The wind picked up considerably after the snow stopped, 30 to 40 mph. We have wind here almost always but after snow storms it usually kicks up quite a bit. This wind is a blessing though in the summer as it keeps our temperatures cooler than surrounding areas.
We have decided not to have bible study tomorrow due to road conditions. I miss those ladies when we don’t meet. Today will be school as usual. We hope to finish health by the end of next week. Then we can double up on another subject and get it finished. I have already been looking at next years books. So exciting! How blessed we are to be able to homeschool. I love teaching my girls, spending time with them. We have so much fun.

I think your picture turned out wonderful! I am glad we didn’t get as much snow as they were calling for.
I think we might take tomorrow off and get out of the house-depending on how much we get done today. Way to go on finishing Health! I think we are right on track but not near to finishing anything 🙂 Next Friday is home school bowling in Christiansburg. We are going to try to do that next week. If you have Bible study maybe George can bring the girls?
I love ordering new school books too. Gonna order a few this weekend.

That was a beautiful picture. We get a lot of wind in our area. I have been having Josie go through a book for health, but it has gone by the wayside. Her other subjects require more of her and she has had health every years since 2nd grade when we started schooling at home.
I hope that you have a great day with your family. I had to look back through your blog for your “recipe” for your cabbage, hamburger, and potatoes. We are going to try that next week. I now have it saved to my computer as “Donna’s Casserole”.

I love that picture! I’m sorry you had to miss your ladies meeting. I know you really enjoy it. I hope next week the weather will be nices and you can have it. You are so right…what a blessing to be able to homeschool ! I would not trade it for anything.
