Hello everyone! I thought I would share a few sunrise pictures from yesterday morning. It was a beautiful sky.
Saturday was very cold here. We ended up not doing much outside as it was just too cold. Sunday was cold in the morning but warmed up nicely as the day went on. A good thing too as it was parade day here in Floyd. We LOVE our Christmas parade. It is always so much fun. Pastor Tom and Mrs. Sally came home with us after church. We had taco soup and applesauce for lunch. Then we left for the parade. Our church did a float this year for the first time. Julie, Grace and several others walked behind the float and gave out candy. It was a lot of fun.
In this picture is Pastor Tom, Mrs. Sally, myself, Julie and Grace. Our float was one of the earlier ones, so everyone got to watch the remainder of the parade.
We are getting back into our routine today after a week break from school. We are working on science now. We have already finished bible and history. It promises to be a nice day here. It has warmed up already. Our temperature is upper 40’s with lots of sunshine.
Well, I better get busy. Enjoy your day and God bless.
Your sunrise pictures are beautiful! The parade sounds like so much fun! We need to go one year. 🙂 I love how Mrs. Sally is explaining something in the picture. We just heated up the rest of the taco soup we had frozen from last week. We are back to school today too. We have 41 more math lessons left for the year. Maybe I will concentrate on other subjects now and knock those 41 lessons out after Christmas. Geez-I never used to stress out about school before. Just seems they have so much to accomplish now. I am thinking we will come to get milk around 1. Madison is still getting a buckling too. This doeling is hers also. We got McKenzie and Bub laptops for Christmas so we are just giving Madison the same amount of money that we spent on them to spend how she likes. She should have enough left after the buckling to buy a years worth of food.
I hope you all have a great day of school! Love ya!
:)Vicki

Those are great pictures! Thank you so much for sharing. Our town is gong to have something they call ‘Winter Whispers’ this year. I have heard that it’s not new, but we have lived here for five years and haven’t heard of it before. Every year they do a horse drawn wagon around a city block and we have caught that a few times. This year it’s a full day of family friendly fun, and I am excited! smile I hope to make a day of it, it’s December 1st and I look forward to it. smile I have invited several people and have gotten all kinds of…silence, maybe it will just be the four of us there that we know. smile Who knows. smile We need to get back in the swing of desk work too. Have a great week and thanks again. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!

I bet you enjoyed the Christmas parade and the float. That is always so much fun. When I ran a preschool we use to put a float in. Beautiful pictures.
