Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a good weekend.  Ours was very nice.  On Friday, Jess and the kids came up.  She had found a new laundry soap recipe she wanted to try.   So far, we like it.

On Saturday, it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL here!  We worked outside all day, trimming trees and such.  I love days like that.  We, however, woke this morning to ice covering everything.  Oh well, I know spring is on its way.  I have a big kettle of homemade soup cooking on the wood stove.  It smells go good.

I guess I better get busy.  Enjoy your day and God bless.

  1. I will have to give that laundry soap a try! The laundry soap that you gave me worked great by the way. I just ran out of it this morning. I made this laundry soap this morning It is super super quick and super cheap too. I used it on Quentin’s work shirts and it got them clean.

We worked outside on Saturday too. Except for Quentin and Bub were in hunter safety all day long. Bub passed his test with a 92 though only missing 4 out of 50. A lot of kids did not pass and will have to sit through it again. Bub was the very last person to finish the test.

Soup sounds so good on a day like today! We are having spaghetti with garlic bread(the kind with whole garlic cloves in it, not garlic butter :))

I think I understand about the A Beka solutions key now. It only has the solutions to some not all the answers, and you need the teacher edition for the solutions to the other problems.

Anyway, I don’t always talk about things right away, but Madison a CT scan Wed. morning because of tummy pains she has been having. She also has a dermatologist appointment on the 26 for a couple of moles on her abdomen area. One with a spot and one with a border. I am sure they will remove them and when they do I am sure they will go deep and wide like before.

  2. Isn’t the weather crazy this time of year??? I am so ready for spring. I need to try the homemade detergent again. I made some before but I didn’t care for it. It didn’t dissolve in the washing machine well. I hope Jess and the kids are doing well. Is your hubby better. Hope you have a great day.

  3. It is good to hear that you enjoyed your weekend. Your snow is my reminder that spring is not fully committed yet. smile Have a wonderful day remembering to pray always. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings and so much more!

  4. Homemade soup! Yum. I made chili last week for what I thought would be the last time this season. Apparently not! 😉 I might have to pull out my Tuscana Olive Garden Copy Cat recipe again. It was such a huge hit here!
