Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a good week. Things are good here. This is a picture of the marigolds that are at the upper garden. I had no idea they would look so pretty. I thought I had maybe planted them too close together but I think they look very nice.
We are still working on apples. We are almost done. We started school last week. It has went very well so far. Of course, usually the first weeks are mostly review. They are working on history as I make this post.
I am trying to think of what to tell you all we have been doing. Nothing exciting. APPLES, school, wood cutting. Just the normal things that we do. We cleaned out one of the freezers yesterday and did some organizing. Something that was much needed. I wanted to get an idea of what was in there. Things manage to float to the bottom of the abyss and get lost. Anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this? I am wanting to keep up better with what is in there so there won’t be any waste.
Well, another batch of juice is ready so I better get off. I hope you all have a great day and God bless.
The flowers are pretty. As for the organization of a drop in freezer, I saw a family once on youtube that used bins to organize, it may have been the show on TV about Alaska the last fronteer. The point is that bins were used in the freezer to help keep it organized. Then to see what was below something one just took out the bin above to get to the lower bin. Ours are both upright so we don’t use this system, but it’s a neat idea. Have a great day finishing up those apples. smile I really should get to two boxes I picked up this weekend. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!

Your marigolds are beautiful! I have been cleaning out our freezers too. The meat birds are getting old deer jerky meat-can’t believe we let that go to waste!! See you this weekend. I hope it doesn’t rain!

Marigolds are so beautiful this time of year. They are one of those summer/autumn flowers that make summer last a little longer yet bring on a touvh of autumn. Absolutely beautiful.
I know what you mean about the freezer. My kids are always asking if we have this or that to eat and I tell them they will have to get into the freezer and see. NO ONE wants to dig down that deep 😉
Have a great week in THE LORD!

Your flowers are so pretty. I love the colors. We cleaned out the freezers a couple of weeks ago, and I know what you mean.I found so much at the bottom of ours.
We are still doing apples and wood as well. So much preparing for a long winter.
Take care dear friend.
