Bee Sting

100_6695

My Grace was stung Tuesday with a bee.  This is what it looks like today.  It actually is getting better.  The swelling has gone down.  It must be our time for stings.  Hubby came home yesterday and he had gotten stung with a hornet.  It looked pretty rough this morning.  We have been putting alcohol on both his and Grace’s.   Does anyone know anything else to put on bee stings?

Not a long post right now.  We are still working with peaches.  We took a lunch break and I thought I would show you all Grace’s sting.  Enjoy your day and God bless.

  1. I hope that it clears up soon. I don’t think I have ever seen a bee sting do that. We have used rubbing alcohol for mosquito bites.

Have a great evening with your family.

  2. Hi Donna.. I have not seen a bee sting look like that before.. Poor girl…
I use my aloe vera plant for most things.. If you have one just split the leaf and put the juice on… I find it is one of the best healers there is.. Also.. the gardener’s salve is great for a lot of things..
You probably know that stuff anyway…
    Blessings..

Down here we put wet tobacco on bee stings. It is supposed to draw the poison. We used to keep a cigarette under the sink for just this my mother would put water in the tobacco and use it like a poultice

  4. Ouch! I pray it hasn’t hurt too much. Hubby got hit by some wasps a few weeks ago while cleaning out AnnaBelle’s shed. Not the best feelin’ in the world for sure!

Have a great weekend in THE LORD!

  6. Oh my…I have never seen a reaction like that to a bee sting. We only use a paste of baking soda and water here. Not sure why..it is just what my momma always put on us. I have heard of the above mention of tobacco juice before. I hope she has gotten better.
